Carol has started with Dr. Stevenson's research on children who remember their past lives, and pursued the human, personal side of this phenomenon. She is thus both a researcher and writer, and also an advocate for parents and children. Her first-hand accounts of children who remember a past life, and how their parents reacted, teach all parents to respect their children as complete human beings with a long past-life history.
I had the privilege to interview Carol for my documentary, and I found her gracious, sincere and dedicated. If you have never read anything on reincarnation, or if you have read too much, this is the book. It is clear, heartfelt, and honest. It introduces you to real parents and children without hype or imaginative speculation--like Carol herself, it's "WYSIWYG" (what you see is what you get). You can read extended excerpts of each chapter of the book online at this link.
Carol Bowman's second book, focusing specifically on children reincarnating in their own previous family or extended family. This is a truly revolutionary book with extremely strong cases and profound implications. I've been studying reincarnation and death-related subjects for 30 years, and reading this book brought me to a new level of conviction. Death, and what happens afterwards, really is a part of life, and the event of someone you loved dying is really not so different from their being deported to another country. Under certain circumstances they can communicate, they can return, and the essence of the relationship (i.e., the relationship as it really was) continues and can be improved on or healed if need be. I can't pretend this is a theory or a point of view because I'm completely convinced, but I will say the case is expertly presented. This book has the potential to change society if society comes out of denial and takes it seriously.
