Swami Abhedananda, a disciple of the God-Realized master, Sri Ramakrishna, argues persuasively for the Vedantic conception of reincarnation. In this book he is referencing a now-antiquated Western science. Nonetheless, he is passing on teachings handed down for thousands of years which were based on the Eastern psychology of direct experience, in a field in which Western researchers are still but newcomers. The Vedanta Society, which publishes this book, is a very reliable source for accurate information on Eastern philosophy and religion.
