Review:

Swedish author Sture Lonnerstrand, Shanti Devi's official biographer, gives a narrative account of one of the strongest reincarnation cases in modern history. It was investigated by a committee of distinguished men organized at the behest of Mahatma Gandhi, and, again, by the author.

This is not only a reincarnation case, however; it is also a poignant personal story of love and devotion, both human and divine. I found the human side of the story deeply poignant, as a young girl remembers her marriage to a man who she can never reclaim because despite his promise never to remarry, he has done so.

At the close of the book, the author summarizes the points which prove the case as genuine, and they are convincing beyond any reasonable doubt.
