I'm going to back off from the "blog" aspect of these Updates for awhile. Girlfriend left, business tanked, I moved to my Mom's in Franklin, NC and am aiming at Myrtle Beach where Meher Baba's permanent retreat, the Meher Spiritual Center, is located. Not sure how I'll get there or when. That about summarizes it. I'm relying on God and trying to adjust to the changes.

I did learn of one interesting coincidence recently, that Meher Baba drove directly through Franklin on the cross-country trip that ended in a serious car accident in Prague, Oklahoma in 1952. I drove a part of the route from Franklin, through Murphy, Ducktown and on to Lake Ocoee in Tennessee a few days ago. Beautiful country, as Meher Baba remarked.

On the reincarnation ed front, I am still waiting for Bruce Kelly to send back the answers to my revised list of questions. The big news is that Dr. Jim Tucker, succession to Dr. Ian Stevenson at the University of Virginia, has agreed to a video interview for this website. I've told him that it would be an opportunity for him to have an extended interview available to the interested public, which would present his views fairly and fully by a sympathetic editor.

We are looking at some time next month (June). It's a full day's drive from Franklin, and I will need to stay overnight. I would like to ask here that if anyone wishes to fund this trip, I would be grateful for the financial assistance. I would need money for gas, food and lodging (probably one night). I think we are talking about $250-$300. If anyone would like to donate for this, please contact me at the e-mail on the home page. There are sympathetic print interviews with Dr. Tucker, but no extended interviews on video that I know of--mostly sound-bites in documentaries.

I am also open to question ideas. If there is a particular question or questions you would like me to ask Dr. Tucker in the interview, send them by the same e-mail address on the home page.
