Yesterday evening I was interviewed on 21st-Century Radio by Dr. Bob Hieronimus. The show streamed on the internet, and was simultaneously broadcast live on WCBM 680 AM in Boston.

Dr. Bob is a character, and as two old hippies we got along famously. He's enough of a showman to keep his show lively and entertaining, but beneath that he's quite serious about advancing the cause of free thought and serious inquiry into topics usually shunned and excluded by the popular media. He told me off the air that they fund the show themselves, which allows them complete freedom. I told him that this was the basis "In Another Life" was created on as well.

I always wonder who's listening and whether anyone's life is affected when I reach out publicly this way (this is my third radio interview). As I told Dr. Bob, sometimes it's just a matter of "planting seeds."

I'd like to thank 21st-Century Radio for giving their guests the royal treatment. Dr. Bob's questions covered everything I would have liked to get across, and demonstrated that he had studied my documentary thoroughly. He gave me plenty of time to answer and he was respectful of me and the topic. (I even got an honorary "doctorate", inasmuch as he presented me as "Dr. Sakellarios"--although I only have a masters degree, I figured it would be too awkward to correct him on the air.) They also have an innovative way of saying "thank you" to their guests, by providing samples of other guests' work according to your expressed interests. I'll be learning more about crop circles, Jesus in India, and the Rocky and Bullwinkle cartoons (21st Century Radio is quite eclectic).
