This will be the fastest "Update" on record, because I only have a few minutes here before I need to go to work (though I set my own schedule, still, one has to try to keep it for the sake of self-discipline).
It has recently come to my attention, through three different interactions in a short period, that there is a very, very fine line between the person who champions a certain cause for the sake of truth, and the person who has a hidden personal agenda. They look almost identical on the surface--at least, to the undiscerning eye.
But there is a second principle that interacts with this first one, namely, that the vast majority of people, who define their existence by the status quo, automatically assume that all such people fit into the second category. To put it in concise terms, every person who defines reality by what is socially normal, automatically defines all prophets and all madmen as madmen. Because by their very definition of reality, there is no distinction. How could there be? Both are deviant; therefore, both are crazy.
But the difference between the madman and the prophet is that the madman is practicing to be a prophet, the way a child practices to be a fireman with a toy fire truck. He's got the right idea; he's just not actually doing it yet. That's because his polestar is himself, his ego, and one's ego always has hidden agendas. Truth is a different bird entirely.
When the madman learns to shift the driving force behind his cause from his ego to Truth, he becomes a prophet. But first--and remember, many reincarnations could be going into this process--he must get outside the shackles of conventionality. I think that over the course of many reincarnations, it often happens that a person manages to get outside the shackles of conventionality before he learns to shift his polestar from his own hidden agenda to the Truth which lies beyond it.
Much earlier in my life, I so-shifted my focus. Or more correctly, I was helped to shift it, as I couldn't have done it on my own. Anyone approaching this website and the information it offers will not discern the difference if, to them, reality equals conventionality. People who have reached beyond conventionality but are still focusing on their hidden agendas, will assume I am doing the same (and this happens, also). It is primarily the people who are in the process of shifting their focus to Truth who will see the difference. Everyone else may remember it, however, when their time comes in the future.
That's all. I told you it would be a quick one.
Best regards,

Stephen S., Producer

Music opening this page: "High Landrons," Eric Johnson (Ah Via Musicom album)
All I can say is, if you have a chance to see Eric in concert, don't pass it up...
sell the car and hitch to the concert if you have to.
